Day 1, I went over by 4 calories according to MFP. Not bad, but I was hungry all day! So Day 2 and Day 3, I went over by about 250 calories! I'm not happy because I've been having oatmeal for breakfast and salad for lunch pretty consistently. And my snacks are baby carrots, hummus, and greek yogurt. Although I'll admit that I fell off the boat a little because I got a little sick after lunch, and made up for the lost calories by scarfing down 2 slices of pizza and 3 cookies at dinner.
I think the lesson learned from these first few days is - I have to work out. I can't eat 1200 calories. No one normal can eat 1200 calories a day! Today is a soccer day - so I'm hoping my workout gives me some flexibility to eat more. I think that has to be my new motto "Work out so I can eat more". LOL.
On another note - wedding planning. If I'm prioritizing my life, why am I planning a wedding? How is spending THOUSANDS of dollars on a party a good life choice? It's not. I'm so frustrated, but after being in a 4 year engagement and 9 year relationship you can't just run off to Vegas - I should have done that years ago!!
